Attention all Chapter supporters, sponsors and golf enthusiasts, we are in the planning stages for our Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser. The location and date are TBA and like in past years it will be a shot-gun start and scramble format.  Prizes will be awarded to the team with the lowest score, closest to the pin and longest drive.  There will be a light continental breakfast in the morning and lunch/award ceremony at the end.  Registration is at 7:30 and the shotgun start is at 9am.  Single golfers will be $125 and a foursome will be $450.  In addition, you can be a hole sponsor starting at $150.
We will be sending an email when the details are final, and as always, please visit the Paul Young Facebook page for other current events and information.

The Chapter will be holding its Spring Wa Wa Sum Restoration Weekend on May 31st through June 2nd. Cost stays at $125 per person.  Click on the link below to sign up.

The Spring Weekend at Wa Wa Sum has been a great way to catch a hatch, meet other members, give back to the resource, and learn about some aspect of the sport that you may not have had the time to explore. As usual, both conservation and educational purposes are served.  And fishing.  Arrive on Friday and leave Sunday.  As usual, all guests will be expected to bring their own towels, linens, toiletries, and sleeping bag. Food will be provided starting Saturday morning.

A choice of conservation activities will be available Saturday morning and then a speaker covering an educational topic will present at 2:30.  Dinner is at 6:00ish.  The rest of the weekend is for fishing, swapping stories, and making new friends.

Mark your calendars and buy your tickets now!  A number of members have been getting two or more friends together for the weekend. That's perfect. They do not have to be TU members. Camp Wa Wa Sum is a great venue, a historical throwback, and of course, there is the screened in porch overlooking the Holy Waters….

Join fellow PHYTU members for a weekend stay at Barothy Lodge, March 23 and 24, for steel heading on the Pere Marquette River in Wahala, MI. We will be staying at the Bird House which can sleep 11-12 persons comfortably in 6 bedrooms (2 queens, 9 twins).  Photos of the Bird House can be viewed here: www.barothylodge.com/bird-house.  Due to limited sleeping arrangements, we are limiting this event to 16 persons.  Beds will be awarded to the first 11-12 members to sign up so act quickly.  (Those who do not get a bed will be notified to bring cots/inflatable mattresses.)  Please note, the cost is $150.00 per/person and this DOES NOT include food.  (Because there are no markets/restaurants within easy driving from the Lodge, we highly recommend that you bring your own food.)

The Chapter will be holding its annual Fall Wa Wa Sum Weekend this year on September 22-24.  As usual, all guests will be expected to bring their own towels, linens, and sleeping bag. Food will be provided. Cost is $125 per person.  Click on the link below to sign up.
